Mrs. Clark has been working to turn her classroom into an experiential learning hub. Inspired by fellow educators, Mrs.Clark has created a Google Slides Choice Board for her classes at Sir Guy Carleton Secondary School in order to facilitate #OCDSBLearnAt Home. Each week has a different assortment of activities and students select ones that interest them. The choice board has been a huge success with students and many are completing multiple choices each week and emailing back their final products and mini passion projects. Every week yields some fun results such as student artwork, music conversations between parents and students, completed household chore assignment, and mini passion projects. Students are engaging with the assignments in a fun and creative way, and are also providing feedback on the activities they enjoy the most. Keep populating the choice board with creative ideas Mrs.Clark- there’s lots of learning happening in our OCDSB homes!
