Student voice refers to listening to and valuing students’ views regarding their learning experiences, as well as treating them as equal partners in the evaluation process (Blau & Shamir-Inbal, 2018). This is expected, in turn, to empower students to take a more active role in shaping their learning and making the work meaningful.
To make work meaningful for students and educators, factors such as listening, collaboration, and leadership are essential to the educational process.
To foster this process, providing a variety of qualitative instructional strategies are key for promoting meaningful work for students.
